DC Doda flags off “Watan ko Jano” Youth Exchange Programme

DODA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Harvinder Singh flagged off the “Watan ko Jano” Youth Exchange Programme from here today.

The programme, organized by the District Social Welfare Officer, aims to provide students with an opportunity to experience and appreciate the rich social and cultural diversity of India.

A group of enthusiastic students from Parisha and Palaash Doda are participating in this initiative. The programme is designed to enhance their understanding of the nation’s varied cultural heritage, foster unity, and instill a sense of pride in the country’s diversity.

The DC Doda encouraged the students to make the most of this opportunity by embracing the diverse experiences they will encounter during the programme. He emphasized the significance of such initiatives in broadening horizons and nurturing young minds.

During the flag-off ceremony, the DC Doda also interacted with the students from Parisha and Palaash, inspiring them to be ambassadors of their region and to share their unique cultural heritage with others.

The District Social Welfare Office has meticulously planned the programme to ensure that the students gain valuable insights and exposure, thereby contributing to their overall personal and social development.
