Evaluates provision of revenue services under PSGA timelines, construction of new revenue offices
BUDGAM: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Budgam, Akshay Labroo, today chaired a meeting here to review the functioning of Revenue services across all tehsils of the district.
The DC reviewed the progress made in the digitization of revenue records of the district to enhance transparency and efficiency in land records management.
He assessed the progress in fully digitizing the district’s revenue records to boost transparency and streamline land records management. He also conducted tehsil-level review of revenue service processing of fards, caste certificates, RBA certificates, demarcation applications, agriculture certificates, EWS Certificates etc in line with PSGA timelines to ensure prompt service delivery to citizens.
The DC also reviewed the progress of work in the infrastructure projects of revenue offices including construction of Tehsil Office BK Pora and Niabats of Nagam, Soibugh, Kachwari and additional block at NT Office, Pakherpora.
He instructed the concerned officers to work closely with executing agencies to ensure that projects are completed on schedule.
The DC emphasized the need for responsive governance, urging revenue officials to proactively resolve public grievances. He called for prompt redressal of issues, regular monitoring, and the imposition of penalties for delays in revenue services to maintain high service standards.
The meeting was attended by ADC Budgam, ACR Budgam , all Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), all Tehsildars, and other Revenue officials.
