SRINAGAR: A one-day seminar cum cultural program on Cyber Security-Cyber Hygiene was today organized by Cultural Unit Kashmir of DIPR in collaboration with Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Amira Kadal within the school campus, here.
The program was attended by more than hundred students, staff of GHSS Amira Kadal and the officers of DIPR.
Cultural Officer Kashmir, Burhan Hussain, who was the chief guest on the occasion, in his welcome address, highlighted the importance of sensitization and frequent awareness about the increasing cyber attacks.
He elaborated Cyber Security threats and strategies to protect against them, Current Attack Scheme used by Hackers, Malware, Password attacks and E-mail spoofing etc.
Student speakers also highlighted the serious issues of cyber frauds and suggested important tips for cyber security.
Artists of Shahr-e-Khaas Literary and Welfare Society presented theme based drama and dance on the occasion.
Later, Cultural Officer Burhan Hussain, AE&CO Syed Shakeel Shan and Vice Principal, GHSS Amira Kadal presented certificates and mementos to the participants.
