GANDERBAL: The Directorate of Internal Quality Assurance (DIQA), Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) Friday organised a one-day workshop for the DIQA Nodal Officers and Section heads on “Filling of AQAR 2022-2023,” at varsity’s Green campus here.
Addressing the participants, DIQA, Director, Prof. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Geelani said, the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) serves as an important component of the NAAC accreditation process, offering institutions an opportunity to provide a comprehensive overview and insights about their performance and achievements over the academic year. “AQARs encapsulate key achievements, initiatives, challenges, and future plans, enabling institutions to demonstrate their commitment to quality enhancement and institutional development,” he said.
He added that the workshop has been tailored to provide participants with practical insights and strategies, for effectively filling the AQARs. “By equipping the participants with the necessary knowledge and skills, we aim to streamline the accreditation process, enhance institutional quality, and ultimately contribute to the advancement of the higher education sector,” he added. He asked the participants to gear up for the NAAC and properly document all the activities organised by the departments from time to time.
Talking about the AQAR, Deputy Director DIQA, Dr. Mohammad Sayeed Bhat, said, that central to the NAAC accreditation process is the meticulous preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Reports (AQARs), which serve as a comprehensive reflection of institutional achievements, challenges, and future aspirations.
Thereafter during technical sessions, Deputy Directors, Er. Afaq Alam, Dr. Moyeed ul- Zaffar, Gulafroz Jan, Dr. Faizan Ashraf Mir, Dr. Mohammad Sayeed Bhat, Nodal Officers, Arshad Me’raj and Imtiyaz Ahmad Najar, made presentations on their respective criteria in the AQARs.
