SRINAGAR: The Commissioner Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), Dr. Owais Ahmed who is also Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Srinagar Smart City Limited (SSCL) today convened a high-level review meeting to assess the progress of various projects under the Smart City Mission.
The meeting, held at SMC headquarters, was attended by Chief Engineer SSCL, including Add.CEO, SSCL and technical experts and other officials from Smart City.
The aim of the meeting was to evaluate the status of ongoing projects, identify potential bottlenecks, and strategize on the way forward to ensure the timely and successful completion of the Smart City mission .
During the comprehensive review, the Commissioner/CEO emphasized the importance of maintaining momentum on all fronts and ensuring that each project aligns with the overarching goal of transforming the city into a technologically advanced and sustainable urban center.
Key projects discussed in the meeting included infrastructure development, smart mobility solutions, urban rejuvenation programs, and the integration of technology to enhance public services and governance.
Commissioner SMC/CEO SSCL expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far, while also highlighting the need for continued collaboration, innovation, and effective project management to meet the ambitious targets set by the Smart City Mission.
