UDHAMPUR: Chief Education Officer, Geetu Bangotra visited SIKS Higher Secondary School for Boys Udhampur to conduct an academic inspection. During the visit, Bangotra initiated enrolment drive rally under community mobilisation. The objective of the rally was to attract new admissions to the school.
The CEO delivered a message to all Heads of Institutions in the district, encouraging them to organise similar enrolment rallies at their respective institutions and to raise awareness about the various facilities provided to government school students. She was accompanied by Assistant Director Planning, Darshan Kumar.
The CEO also visited the kindergarten section of the school and monitored the academic performance of the KG classes. She interacted with the KG students and expressed her satisfaction with the management of the KG classes. She urged all Heads of Institutions to utilise all grants released for the benefit of KG classes.
The Chief Education Officer urged heads of institutions running Kindergarten classes to enhance the appeal of the rooms by adding wall paintings and decorative posters. She also implored the general public to take full advantage of kindergarten classes and other government schemes by enrolling their children, with a minimum age of 3+ years, in government schools.
In addition, she inspected ongoing construction works and various development projects within the premises of the school.
