SRINAGAR: Hilal Ahmad Bhat, a resident of Batmaloo, Srinagar has expressed gratitude to the Jammu & Kashmir Police for cracking the case of theft that took place at his home some time back.
Talking to Street Times, Hilal who runs the Khan News Agency at Regal Chowk in Srinagar said that the police team led by SDPO Fayaz Gilani left no stone unturned in cracking the case and arresting the thieves.
Hilal said that Station House Officer (SHO) Batmaloo Sabzar took pains in the case with sub-inspector Mumtaz Ahmad from Bandipora playing a pivotal role in cracking the case.
Srinagar Police in a Tweet, said during the investigation of FIR 49/2023 & 101/2023 of Batmaloo Police Station, 3 accused identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dewa of Palpora Noorbagh, Fatima @ Buri of Friestabal Pampore and Asia Rasool of Hari Singh High street were arrested. Stolen material i.e 4 gold rings, 3 gold chains, worth approximately ₹ 2,60,000 were also recovered.
Hilal said that Srinagar Police under the dynamic leadership of SSP South is doing a tremendous job.
