84 panchayats covered in phase 1, outreach to 94 panchayats began today

KULGAM: The day three of B2V-5 in Kulgam witnessed active participation and interaction between Prabhari Officers and the public.

With 84 panchayats covered in phase 1 in the district, Outreach to more 94 Panchayats began today and Prabhari Officers including Director Education, Tassaduq Hussain Mir; Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, G.N.Itoo, Director Floriculture Kashmir, Farooq Ahmad Rather, Director RDD, Shabir Hussain Bhat and other officers visited their designated Panchayats and listened to the aspirations of the people and took feedback to ensure effective implementation of developmental schemes.

During the programme, visiting officers held scores of Gram Sabhas and informed people about the centrally sponsored and UT-run schemes for the welfare of the general public.

Prabhari Officers in these 94 panchayats interacted with the public and undertook review of previous and current year deliverables with special focus with respect to improving e-services penetration and user experience for greater accessibility.

They also inspected various government offices and establishments and took first hand appraisal of availability of facilities and functioning of these institutions.

Prabhari Officers also reviewed implementation status of schemes like Jal Jeevan Mission, MGNREGA, PMAY-G, APY, Pension schemes, rejuvenation and restoration of water bodies etc and emphasised upon the saturation of KCC, ABHA cards, golden cards, land passbooks etc.

Awareness sessions on various self employment and other welfare schemes were also held.

Exciting cultural and sports events were also organised showcasing talent and promoting a spirit of unity.
