DODA: Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Mahajan chaired a meeting with various political parties at his office in Doda to discuss the ongoing electoral enrolment process. The meeting focused on appointing Booth Level Agents (BLAs) by political parties to ensure better enrollment in the area.
DC Doda informed representatives that special camps would be organised on 9 and 15 April at all polling stations to encourage new voters to enrol. He emphasised the importance of appointing BLAs, who will play a crucial role in ensuring a fair and transparent election process.
During the meeting, DC Doda discussed different formats available for adding, deleting, correcting, and transposing voters. He informed representatives that form 6 is used for addition, Form 7 for deletion and Form 8 for correction and transposition.
The meeting was attended by Additional DC, Deputy District Election Officer and representatives of various political parties.
