ANANTNAG: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Anantnag, Dr Basharat Qayoom today reviewed the status of works being implemented under Prime Minister’s Development Package (PMDP) and JK Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation (JKIDFC).
The chair was informed that under PMDP, 10 projects of the Health department, 8 projects of Education, 3 of Tourism along with 12 others are completed and only 9 of the 42 projects are under execution. Among the ones under executions, work is underway and these shall be completed as per stipulated timeline.
Under JKIDFC, 24 projects with Jal Shakti, 7 projects of the Health department, one of Industries and 8 of Sports Council have been completed.
The DC issued directions for completing the pending works within the stipulated timeline. He emphasized upon the executing agencies to highlight any impediments in execution so that they can be resolved in time.
He also pressed for expediting work underway on transit camps and directed SE R&B to ensure their completion by June.
The meeting was attended by ADDC, JD Planning, SE R&B, SE Hydraulics, CMO and Executive Engineers from R&B, Flood Control, KPDCL, AD Tourism among others.
