DODA: A free mega medical camp was held at Village Kathyara in Medical Block Bhaderwah by the District Health Society as a part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav programme and Adbhut Doda initiative of District Administration.
The medical camp was organised with the aim to provide quality medical care and free medicines to the poor and needy people of the area besides to reach out to them at their door steps.
A team of doctors and paramedical staff from Bhaderwah including staff from MMU Doda rendered their services to more than 100 patients who had come from different areas of Kathyara.
Free medicine was also distributed among patients.
The people of the area have hailed the efforts of the health department and hoped to organize such camps in future also.
The health department has appealed to the general public to come forward and take maximum advantage of all the health schemes meant for them.
