NEW DELHI: President Droupadi Murmu today accepted the resignations of Bhagat Singh Koshyari as Governor of Maharashtra and Radha Krishnan Mathur as Lt. Governor of Ladakh and appointed Ramesh Bais, the Governor of Jharkhand, as the Governor of Maharashtra.

Brig. (Dr) BD Mishra (retd), the current Governor of Arunachal Pradesh has been appointed as Lt. Governor of Ladakh.

The President also appointed Lt General Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik (retd) as Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lakshman Prasad Acharya as Governor of Sikkim.

CP Radhakrishnan is the new Governor of Jharkhand while Shiv Pratap Shukla will be the new Governor of Himachal Pradesh.

Leader of opposition in Rajasthan assembly Gulab Chand Kataria will take charge as Governor of Assam.

Justice S. Abdul Nazeer (retd) has been named Governor of Andhra Pradesh and Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, will now be Governor of Chhattisgarh.

Sushri Anusuiya Uikye, Governor of Chhattisgarh has been named Governor of Manipur.

La. Ganesan, Governor of Manipur is the Governor of Nagaland.

Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Bihar will be the new Governor of Meghalaya and Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, Governor of Himachal Pradesh has been appointed as Governor of Bihar.
