KISHTWAR: Jan Abhiyan Shehri-a prelude to My Town My Pride edition Second, culminated today in District Kishtwar amid holding of a series of activities by line departments including awareness camps and sanitation and plantation drives.
The camps witnessed distribution of digital Land pass books, awareness sessions regarding government schemes, employment mela, sports activities etc organised by social welfare, health, Labour and employment, education, agriculture, handicraft, sports and youth affairs, animal husbandry and Bankers in all municipal wards of the Municipal limits of Kishtwar Town.
Stalls and registration counters were set up by the departments at the designated venues where people were apprised about the Government schemes and beneficiaries were also registered.
Land Passbooks, trade licenses and other certificates were also distributed among the land owners and traders.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal participated in the Jan Abhiyan programme in Kishtwar Town and inspected awareness and registration stalls besides interacting with the beneficiaries and ULB members.
Later he visited various wards and govt offices and institutions like, Anganwadi centres, Children park, CSCs, DIET library and took stock of preparedness for MTMP 2.0 to be held on 5th and 6th of December 2022.
