DRA Committee finalizes 11 rent cases in B’pora

BANDIPORA: In order to finalize the Rent Assessment cases of private buildings being housed by various departments, the District Rent Assessment Committee, met here today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC), Dr Owais Ahmad.

The Committee discussed various cases in presence of land and building owners to fix the appropriate rent for the occupied accommodations in consonance with the approved rates of 2018 notification. 

11 cases were approved and rent was accordingly finalized for the occupied accommodations. Rent cases pertaining to Social Welfare, Police, Handicraft, Education, Geology and Mining, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, and Sheep Husbandry departments were approved on spot. 

The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning Imtiyaz Ahmad, SE R&B, officers of concerned departments and officials besides concerned house owners.

Addressing the meeting, the DC asked the officers to pay rent to the concerned land and structure owners on time and ensure safety of the Government records as well as rented property.

Later, the Director visited a mushroom unit in the area and interacted with the mushroom growers. He assured the concerned farmers of every technical support from the department.

The Director Agriculture was accompanied by Joint Director Agriculture Inputs Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Chief Agriculture Officer Yadvinder Singh, Sub Divisional Agriculture Officer Tangmarg and other officers of the Department.
