KUPWARA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray today convened a meeting of Revenue Officers to review the progress of digitization of Jamabandis in the district.
Addressing the meeting, the DC stressed upon the officers to speed up the process of digitization and ensure cent percent completion of the targets within the stipulated time frame.He also fixed Tehsil wise timelines for completion of the digitization work.
The DC appreciated the efforts of Tehsil Machill, Keran, Tarathpora and Tehsil Zachaldara for achieving the 100 percent target of digitization.
On the occasion, it was informed that 334 Jamabandis have been digitized so far out of total 379 in the district and work is in progress to complete the rest of the Jamabandis.
Earlier, the DC visited ITI Kupwara and inspected the ongoing digitization process.
ADC Kupwara, Ghulam Nabi Bhat; ADC Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; SDM Karnah, Dr. Gulzar Rather; besides, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
