District Coordination Committee meeting held at Ganderbal

GANDERBAL: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today chaired the District Coordination Committee meeting at the Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, here.

During the meeting threadbare discussions were held about various issues to ensure better coordination among all the departments at all levels for smooth functioning and quality disposal of issues of general public.

On the occasion, the DDC directed the officers to ensure quality and timely disposal of grievances received both online and offline besides issues and grievances raised during the weekly Block Diwas programmes.

He reiterated that prompt resolution of public grievances is the top most priority of District Administration and directed all the officers for proper follow up of public grievances for their timely disposal.

While interacting with the district officers, the DDC said that District Administration is committed to ensure overall development of the district besides to provide self-employment avenues to the local youth. He instructed the concerned departments to generate mass awareness among the masses about the beneficiary oriented schemes so that benefits of such schemes reach the deserving beneficiary.

Meanwhile, the DDC also reviewed the progress on arrangements for smooth conduct of Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra-2022 and Kheer Bawani Mela.

He exhorted the officers to ensure all the arrangements are put in place on time so that visiting devotees may not face any inconvenience.

The meeting was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Khurshid Ahmad Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Farooq Ahmad Baba, DySP, ACR, SDM Kangan, CPO and ACD besides other district officers.
