DC reviews implementation of Samagra Shiksha initiative in District Poonch

115 Works completed, 51 others nearing completion 

POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting to assess the physical and financial progress of development works under the Samagra Shiksha program in the district.

 Chief Education Officer Iftikhar Ali Shah presented a detailed overview of the Samagra Shiksha profile for the district through a PowerPoint presentation. He reported that out of 331 works under the program, 115 have been completed, 86 are currently in progress and 51 are expected to be completed by May end.

The meeting aimed to ensure the timely completion of these development works and to monitor the overall progress of the Samagra Shiksha initiative.

The Deputy Commissioner issued clear instructions to the Public Works Department (R&B) to expedite ongoing projects and ensure these are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

The meeting was attended by key officials, including the SE PWD (R&B), Chief Planning Officer, Chief Education Officer, Xen PWD Mendhar, DPEO, AEE PWD (R&B), along with ZEOs, JEs, and other concerned personnel.
