JAMMU: The National Conference (NC) on Sunday held a crucial meeting of its MLAs in Jammu under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to finalize the party’s strategy for the budget session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, which begins tomorrow.
During the meeting, CM Omar Abdullah directed party legislators to be well-prepared for key discussions, particularly on the budget presentation and other legislative matters. He emphasized the importance of highlighting the government’s developmental achievements and ensuring a smooth passage of financial proposals.
Sources said the meeting also focused on countering opposition attacks, addressing governance issues, and maintaining strong coordination within the ruling alliance. NC leaders discussed their stance on various bills to be introduced in the session and reviewed key concerns raised by the public.
