RAJOURI: In a joint effort to ensure a secure and peaceful environment for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations and other major events, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma alongside SSP Gaurav Sikarwar, chaired a high-level meeting with officers from the Army, BSF, and CRPF. The meeting focused on reviewing the overall security scenario in the district.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for close coordination among all security agencies to maintain vigil and ensure foolproof arrangements during the Republic Day celebrations. The SSP provided an overview of the district’s current security situation and outlined measures to address any potential challenges.
Recognizing the importance of improved communication in enhancing both security and public services, the Deputy Commissioner directed the BSNL officer to take immediate and effective measures to strengthen connectivity in the region.
The officers from various security agencies pledged to work in unison to uphold peace and harmony in the district. The Deputy Commissioner urged all stakeholders to remain proactive and ensure the successful conduct of Republic Day and other events.
ADDC Rajouri, Raj Kumar Thapa and other district & sectoral officers were also present in the meeting.
