REASI: Deputy Commissioner Reasi Nidhi Malik on Saturday chaired a high-level meeting to finalize the arrangements for the Republic Day celebrations. The meeting was attended by ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, SSP Paramvir Singh, besides the functionaries of different departments. Each department was assigned specific responsibilities to ensure the event’s smooth execution.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of meticulous planning and directed the departments to put 100% efforts into making the celebrations successful.
The need for on-spot inspections by officials was stressed to ensure all preparations are in place well in advance. The DC underscored the significance of proper rehearsals to deliver a seamless and grand celebration. Highlighting the essence of the occasion, the DC encouraged everyone to treat the Republic Day festivities as a community celebration marked by enthusiasm and patriotism.
The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need to take special care of students participating in cultural programs and other activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the event. She directed the Chief Medical Officer to ensure adequate medical facilities are in place to address any emergencies.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment among all stakeholders to celebrate Republic Day with utmost fervor and coordination.
