SHOPIAN: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Shopian, during an interactive session with beneficiaries at an Employment Mela held at Government Degree College (GDC) Shopian, approved 30 new cases on the spot under various Mission Youth schemes.
The Employment Mela was organized by the District Administration.
At the beginning of the Employment Mela, a detailed briefing was given on the progress of Mission Youth schemes.
The Nodal Officer for Mission Youth self-employment schemes presented a total of 30 new cases for approval. These included 14 cases under the Mumkin scheme, 2 under Tejaswini and 14 under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative.
The Chairman of the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) reviewed and approved the cases in the presence of the beneficiaries during the Employment Mela.
