It’s been 10 days and PM Modi has not attended Parliament: Priyanka

NEW DELHI: As Parliamentary proceedings got washed out yet again with the ruling BJP alleging Congress leader Sonia Gandhi’s link with US billionaire George Soros-funded entities, and the Opposition raising the Adani indictment issue, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday attacked the BJP, blaming it for deliberately not allowing it to run.

She dismissed the Soros issue as “something ridiculous on which there is no proof”.

“The House is not running, and the government is deliberately not running the House, or they are unable, incapable to do so. It is their strategy… they are afraid of discussion over Adani. I am new to Parliament and it is strange that the PM has not come here, it’s been 10 days of this session,” the Congress MP from Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi Vadra told reporters outside Parliament.

On the Soros issue, she dismissed the matter as something on which “The BJP doesn’t have any proof and it is the most ridiculous thing they could come up with”.

They are raising this matter as they don’t want a discussion on Adani issue, she added further.
