3-day Training organised for AWWs at Doda

DODA: A three-day training program for Anganwadi workers under the “Poshan Bhi, Padhai Bhi” initiative began today at Community Hall Doda.

This training is part of the Mission Shaksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 program, aimed at enhancing Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).

The event, organized by the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Poshan Project, will continue till November 30, 2024.

Deputy Commissioner   Harvinder Singh was the Chief Guest at the Inaugural function, while District Project Officer ICDS Paramjeet Singh, District Social Welfare Officer Doda Tariq Parvaiz Qazi and CDPO Doda Fahmeeda Anjum were present as special guests.

Addressing a large gathering of Anganwadi workers from across the district, the Deputy Commissioner Doda emphasized the significance of integrating education with nutrition at the foundational stage to ensure holistic development of children. He lauded the efforts of the CDPO Poshan Project Doda for organizing the training and urged the participants to effectively implement the learnings in their respective centers.

This training aims to equip Anganwadi workers with the knowledge and tools to foster a nurturing environment for children, focusing on early learning, nutrition, and overall well-being.
