Leaders pay tribute to 26/11 victims

NEW DELHI: On the 16th anniversary of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders paid homage to the victims and security personnel who lost their lives during the horrific events.

Shah stressed the Modi government’s efforts to make India a global leader in anti-terrorism initiatives. He expressed his pride in India’s strengthened stance against terrorism.

“Terrorism is a blot on the entire human civilisation. The Modi government’s ‘zero tolerance’ policy against terrorism has been appreciated by the entire world and today India has become a world leader in anti-terrorism initiatives,” he said. BJP president JP Nadda also paid tributes, acknowledging the sacrifices made by the victims and security forces.
