PULWAMA: The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Pulwama, Dr. Basharat Qayoom today chaired a District Level Committee (DLC) meeting focused on finalisation of already identified beneficiaries under the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP), at the District Administrative Complex Pulwama.
During the meeting, it was noted that more than thousand applications were received in the agriculture sector, more than 300 in the horticulture sector and allied sectors. These applications after thorough review have been approved to ensure that the benefits of HADP reach the most deserving candidates in the district.
In addition to the HADP discussions, Dr. Qayoom also approved cases under the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP), supporting local entrepreneurship and employment generation in the region.
The meeting was attended by key district officials, including the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Pulwama, Assistant Commissioner Development Pulwama and other line department officers, who contributed their insights on implementing HADP effectively for the welfare of the district’s farming and rural communities.
