DC Bandipora reviews verification of Scanned/ Digitized Revenue Records

BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC)  Bandipora, Manzoor Ahmad Qadri on Saturday chaired a  meeting  at mini secretariat  Bandipora to assess the progress regarding  the verification of scanned/ digitized revenue records across the district. 

The meeting focused on reviewing the status of verification of scanned and digitized revenue records and monitoring the  implementation of digitization initiatives.

Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Bandipora, Shabir Ahmad Wani provided a comprehensive overview of the digitization process, sharing details on tehsil-wise verification progress and specific parameters achieved. 

The discussion covered various modules of land record digitization, with insights into the advancements made and challenges faced at the tehsil level.

The DC emphasized the importance of completing the verification process within the stipulated timeframe and urged the officials to work with dedication and efficiency to meet the established targets.

He instructed the ACR to conduct regular monitoring of tehsil-wise progress to ensure consistent performance and adherence to timelines.

The DC called on all concerned to maintain a high level of commitment to ensuring that the verification  of Scanned/ digitized revenue records is completed on schedule, with a focus on accuracy and transparency.

He also underscored the need to deliver services promptly, in alignment with the Public Services Guarantee Act (PSGA), to enhance service delivery for citizens.

Among others, the meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Zaffar Hussain Shawl, tehsildars, naib tehsildars, and other concerned officials besides SDM Gurez and tehsildars from Gurez Sub-Division participated virtually.
