NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday completed 23 years in public life and said much had been achieved for the country but much more needed to be done. Modi had assumed charge as Gujarat CM in 2001.
As he completed 23 years as head of government first in Gujarat and then the national government which he now heads, Modi said, “Over the past decade, we have been able to address several challenges our nation faces.”
Cabinet meet tomorrow
PM Modi will on October 9 chair a meeting of the Council of Ministers. This will be the first Cabinet meeting which Modi will chair upon completion of the first 100 days of his third term in office.
The meeting is expected to hold a detailed review of work of the first 100 days.
