NEW DELHI: Two Meitei youths — Oinam Thoithoi Singh and Thokchom Thoithoiba — who were allegedly abducted by Kuki militants on September 27, were released early on Thursday.
Initially three youths, who were on their way to participate in an SSC recruitment camp, were abducted as they strayed into Keithelmanbi in Kangpokpi district. One of them, Ningombam Johnson Singh, was rescued by the Assam Rifles.
