Weekly Block Diwas meetings continue to resolve public grievances across Ramban

RAMBAN: As part of the ongoing Public Outreach campaign aimed at addressing public grievances, the District Administration Ramban, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, organized Weekly Block Diwas meetings at various locations within the identified blocks of the district.

At Govindpura Maitra, Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Varunjeet Singh Charak, presided over the Block Diwas meeting, attentively listening to the issues and demands brought forth by the locals. In response, the ADC issued directives to the concerned departments, emphasizing the need to resolve all genuine public interest issues promptly.

Similarly, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ramban, S Harpal Singh, attended the Block Diwas at Batote. During the meeting, he addressed and resolved most of the local issues on the spot. Singh also participated in a plantation drive launched from Dakbunglow, Batote, underscoring the administration’s commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Block Diwas meeting in Sangaldan, chaired by Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gool, Pawan Goswami, witnessed significant public participation. This meeting aimed to resolve issues at the doorstep of the public, reflecting the administration’s dedication to accessible governance.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Ramsoo, Ghanshyam Basotra, was present at the Block Diwas meeting in Ukhral. Throughout these meetings, public representatives, prominent citizens, and a large number of general public members raised various issues pertaining to their respective areas.

Similar meetings were also held in Block Banihal, Khari and Gandhari to prioritize public engagement and swift resolution of grievances through these weekly Block Diwas meetings, ensuring that the concerns of the citizens are addressed effectively and efficiently.
