Doda Administration hosts Block Diwas at Gajorh to address public issues

DODA: To engage with the community and address their genuine concerns, the District Administration Doda organized a weekly Block Diwas cum outreach program at Khourwah Park in Panchayat Gajorh, here today.

The event aimed to provide a platform to residents to voice their grievances directly to the authorities.  Deputy Commissioner   Harvinder Singh interacted with the members of PRIs, Ex -sarpanches, panches, and the public and listened to their grievances

 The locals demanded up-grading of school infrastructure, renovation of damaged school buildings, adequate teaching staff, implementation of government schemes, augmentation of healthcare facilities, road connectivity and more.

All district officers, sectoral officers, and officials from different departments were present to address the public concerns. Notable demands highlighted included road connectivity from Bhalla to Dugli, opening of ration and seed stores, up-gradation of the Dogli medical center, installation of water pipes and new transformers, renovation of damaged canals and adequate staff  in animal husbandry centers.

The DC assured to address the genuine issues promptly, while directing the concerned officers to take note of all issues for time bound and quality redress. Additionally, a thorough inspection of government department stalls allowed residents to directly communicate their issues to the officials present.

  The DC Doda emphasized the importance of taking optimal benefits from these schemes and assured the community that school infrastructure issues would be promptly addressed.

The Block Diwas programme held at Gajorh provided the locals an opportunity to present their concerns, demands and feedback directly to the administration.
