DODA: Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh embarked on a site visit to the Changa-Bhal Padri road, approximately 23 kilometers from Gandoh Headquarter.
The aim of the Site inspection was to tak stock of the progress of the road construction and facilitate an amicable settlement of pending issues concerning the project.
It was informed that construction on 6 kilometer stretch of the road is underway, with an additional 5.5 kilometers yet to commence. The total length of the road spans 11.50 kilometers.
During the inspection, the DC was accompanied by Xen PWD (R&B) Ashwani Mehngi, Tehsildar Gandoh Muneeb Umar, AEE PWD Gurjeet Singh, and JE Sajad Mir.
After a thorough inspection of the construction site, the DC asked Engineers to maintain quality standards and promptly resolve bottlenecks, if any, hindering the project.
The DC Doda emphasized the importance of timely completion and quality workmanship in enhancing connectivity and facilitating the socio-economic development of the area.
