UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai today chaired a meeting to review the implementation of the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) in the district.
The meeting aimed to ensure the success of the program by reviewing the latest physical and financial progress achieved in different sectors.
At the outset, District Agriculture Officer Sanjay Anand provided an overview of the current status of schemes implemented in agriculture and allied sectors under HADP.
The officers from stakeholder departments, through detailed PowerPoint presentations, gave a comprehensive overview of their achievements, detailing aspects such as plan implementation, beneficiary approvals, banking connections, convergence of activities, and processing of applications.
The DC conducted a detailed review of the physical and financial progress made in the implementation of projects under the Holistic Agriculture Development Plan 2023-24. She emphasized the need for expediting the implementation of agricultural and allied sector projects to achieve the desired targets at the earliest. The DC stressed the importance of working in a coordinated and dedicated manner to ensure visible results at the grassroots level.
