RAMBAN: The Horticulture Planning and Marketing Department, on the direction of Deputy Commissioner, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, conducted a one-day awareness camp cum workshop on the Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) at Sangaldan- Ramban.
Chairperson District Development Council Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan was the chief guest and SDM Gool, Pawan Kumar was the guest of honour.
The camp witnessed active participation of a large number of progressive growers from the area, besides HDO Gool, AGMO Ramban, SMS Agriculture Gool, AEO Agriculture Sangaldan, Nodal officer KVÍB, Manager JK Bank Sangaldan, and.
The primary objective of the workshop was to disseminate awareness about various HADP and PMFME schemes, with the aim to encourage attendees to actively engage and avail the benefits offered by the initiatives.
Area Marketing Officer took the lead in imparting knowledge about the schemes, emphasising the importance of leveraging them to transition from being job seekers to service providers.
Furthermore, attendees were encouraged to recognize that individuals across educational backgrounds, from the uneducated to the educated, can seize the opportunity to initiate their units under PMFME. All farmers were urged to capitalize on these schemes, paving the way for a more empowered and self-reliant agricultural community.
