SRINAGAR: The Central Bureau of Communication (CBC) Jammu and Kashmir, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting held a comprehensive screening and audition session aimed at empanelling private registered troupes and individual artists at the auditorium of the Department of Information and Public Relations in Srinagar.
The screening witnessed an enthusiastic participation of around 50 cultural troupes.
Head of CBC J&K, Ghulam Abbas alongside renowned Actor / Director Bashir Bhawani and distinguished folk singer Gulzar Ganaie, senior Programme Executive & Broadcaster Talha Jehangir, Assistant Director of Song and Drama Division CBC Chandigarh, Baljit Singh, and Cultural Officer of JKAACL, Asadullah Wani adjudged the auditions.
Over the course of two days, the auditions garnered an overwhelming response, underscoring the vibrant talent pool within Jammu and Kashmir’s cultural landscape. The event served as a platform for artists and troupes to showcase their skills and vie for opportunities for future collaborations and engagements.
