DC reviews progress of PMGSY sector projects in District Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav chaired a meeting today to review the status of projects being executed by PMGSY in different parts of the district.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner was briefed about the work-wise and division-wise status of the roads and bridges  being executed under PMGSY.

Inquiring about the status of the PMGSY projects, the DC directed the engineers to expedite the pending  work  to ensure completion at the earliest. He made special mention of Kuntwara Road and directed the to expedite its execution. He warned of stringent action against any laxity. 

Ex En’s PMGSY were further instructed to accelerate the launching of ongoing projects including Mhow Bridge, Gandhari Road and Chitto Road, ensuring their timely completion.

He also emphasized the necessity of Palali to Machail road connectivity up to Chasoti for vehicles before the commencement of the Annual Holy Machail Yatra to facilitate the hassle-free movement of the pilgrimage.

The stakeholder parties were asked to jointly visit the areas and resolve the issues promptly, if any. 

The meeting was attended by Ex En Marwah Mohd Aslam Lone, Ex En PMGSY Chatroo Iftikar Darvesh, JE’s, and other staff of the PMGSY Sector.
