Take strict action in instances of encroachment of Government Land(s): DC to Revenue Officers
BANDIPORA: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather today chaired a meeting of revenue officers at mini Secretariat to review the status of various revenue matters.
The DC took a review of digitization of Jamabandis, encroachment, PSGA services, e-Office in revenue offices, pending Mutations, allotment of land to landless, encroachment and other related issues.
He said that revenue officers/officials are custodian of government land, and we must take care of it with added responsibility.
While reviewing the status of encroachment, the DC asked the concerned revenue officers to take strict action in cases of encroachment of Government Land(s) and ensure that no government land is encroached.
RAther stressed upon revenue officials to meet the timeline of online services as per the Public Service Guarantee Act and ensure that no service is provided in offline mode, which is available on the online portal. He also warned that strict action shall be taken against officers and officials not adhering to the PSGA timelines.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Umar Shafi Pandit, ACR Bandipora Shabir Ahmad Wani, Sub Divisional Magistrates in virtual mode, Tehsildars and other concerned.
