BANDIPORA: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather Sunday inspected various examination centres established for the OMR based examination conducted by J&K Services Selection Recruitment Board for the posts of Finance Accounts Assistant (FAA).
The DC was accompanied by a team of officers, including ADC Bandipora Umar Shafi, Tehsildar Bandipora Sheikh and other concerned officials.
During the course of inspection of various centers, including HKM Degree College Bandipora, NM Boys Higher Secondary, SMS Islamia Model School Gurura, etc, the Deputy Commissioner took stock of the arrangements made for the aspirants.
As many as 5463 candidates were expected to appear in the examination, for which 22 examination centers were established by the district administration across the district for conducting SSRB Examination smoothly.
The flying squad teams were also constituted for the supervision during the examination & ensuring smooth conduct of examination.
The DC, during his visit to the examination centers, expressed satisfaction over the arrangements put in place for the convenience of the aspirants.
During inspection, he directed the concerned to ensure that the exams are conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
Meanwhile, sharing details regarding the examination, the concerned authorities informed that out of 5463 candidates, a total of 2690 candidates appeared in the said examinations.
