JAMMU: Full Dress rehearsal in connection with the celebrations of 75th Republic Day, 2024 was held across Jammu Division with great enthusiasm, setting the stage for grand celebration of the National Event.
AT KATHUA: Full Dress rehearsal was held with great enthusiasm in Sports Stadium, Kathua. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Ranjit Singh took salute at an impressive march past comprising contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, platoons of NCC cadets besides formation of Police Band.
The students presented a scintillating cultural program based on patriotic and cultural themes, besides featuring folk dances and music.
The ADC said “Republic Day is a befitting occasion to reaffirm our resolve to uphold the highest value of unity and integrity at all times.”
He called upon the participating students to exhibit their best performance with the spirit of patriotism on the date of function to make the celebration a grand success.
AT DODA: In anticipation of the 75th Republic Day, a full dress rehearsal unfolded at Sport Stadium Doda, where Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, played a pivotal role in the ceremonial proceedings. Hoisting the National Flag, he took the salute at an impressive march past featuring 30 contingents, including representatives from J&K police, IR 5th Bn, NCC SD, NSS GDC, NCC JD, FPF, SSB, and school children.
Ten cultural troupes from various educational institutions added vibrancy to the event, underscoring the community’s diverse talents and contributions.
Addressing the gathering, the ADC urged citizens to actively participate in the Republic Day celebrations on January 26, 2024, fostering a sense of enthusiasm and national pride.
Meanwhile, a comprehensive dress rehearsal took place at the New Bus Stand in Bhaderwah. Tehsildar, Umar Jahanzeb, presided over the ceremony, unfurling the tricolor and taking the salute during the impressive march past. The contingents from JKAP and platoons of the senior wings of NCC Girls from Degree College Bhaderwah showcased their discipline and precision.
AT KISHTWAR: Amidst favorable weather conditions, a comprehensive full dress rehearsal unfolded today, here in the DC Office Complex Mini-Secretariat.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Inderjeet Parihar unfurled the tricolor and took the salute at the march past featuring contingents from CRPF, Police, CISF, IRP, NCC (Sr. Div.) of GDC Kishtwar, Forest Protection Force, Homeguard and school children led by Parade Commander Dy. SP Davinder Singh Bandral.
School children and local artists presented a colorful cultural programme featuring theme based presentations.
In his address, the ADC highlighted the ideals of the Indian Constitution, such as integrity, sovereignty, fraternity and brotherhood, alongside the right to vote. This has fostered the making of India as the largest democracy.
AT RAJOURI: The spirit of patriotism and national pride filled the air as District Administration Rajouri conducted a successful full dress rehearsal for the upcoming Republic Day Celebrations.
Stepping up to oversee the proceedings was the Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajiv Kumar Khajuria. As the parade unfolded at the District Police Line Rajouri, participants from various agencies including the Police, CRPF, Forest Protection Force, NCC and students from esteemed educational institutions showcased their synchronicity and unwavering commitment.
A symphony of patriotism reverberated through the air as the Police Band set the tone, leading the parade with precision.
In his address, the Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed his contentment with the performances of the parade contingents and the captivating displays of cultural troupes.
AT REASI: Full Dress rehearsal was held with great enthusiasm, here in the General Zarowar Singh Sports Stadium.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Abdul Star took salute at the function which included an impressive march past by the contingents drawn from Police, CRPF, platoons of NCC cadets and Students from various Schools, besides Band of Police. Various departments viz Education, Agriculture, NRLM, Youth Service & Sports and Rural Development Department displayed the welfare schemes for the citizens of the UT carrying placards.
On the occasion, students presented scintillating cultural items on theme based on patriotism, cultural traditions and folk dances which were applauded by the audience present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, ADC Abdul Star presented a report on the District Development Profile listing undergoing projects and programmes besides sector wise achievements of various departments.
AT SAMBA: District Samba successfully hosted the full dress rehearsal for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations today. The event took place in Rani Suchait Singh Stadium, Arazi, Samba.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, Suresh Chander Sharma presided over the proceedings. He unfurled the tricolor, taking the salute of the impressive March Past of contingents from police, NCC and Educational institutions in addition to the District Police lines.
The program featured a vibrant display of cultural and patriotic expressions, including songs, dances and singing performances in Hindi, Punjabi and Dogri languages.
The ADC expressed satisfaction over the performance of the parade and arrangements put in place for the celebrations.
AT RAMBAN: In a fervent display of patriotism, the Full Dress Rehearsal for the 75th Republic Day celebrations resonated in the District Police Lines, Ramban.
The event witnessed Additional Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Harbans Lal Sharma unfurling the National Flag and taking salute from the contingents.
ADC inspected the parade, overseeing the March-Past of contingents representing Police, IRP, Forest Protection Force, Home Guard and educational institutions. Emphasizing the significance of the occasion, he commended the seamless arrangements made by various departments for the upcoming Republic Day celebrations.
The march-past was followed by vibrant cultural programs, featuring performances by local artists and students from different educational institutions of Ramban.
AT UDHAMPUR: In preparation for the Republic Day celebration, a full dress rehearsal was held today at Government PG College Boys Udhampur.
Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai hoisted the National Flag at 9:55 AM and took salute at an impressive march past comprising 25 contingents drawn from District Police, SKPA, Volunteer Home Guards, NCC and other civil troops.
Addressing the gathering, the DC extended congratulations to the citizens of Udhampur on the eve of Republic Day. She highlighted the day’s significance, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution of India on January 26, 1950 and acknowledging the struggles of forefathers for freedom. She emphasized the visionary leadership of Lieutenant Governor and the government’s commitment to development and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.
Reflecting on Udhampur District’s progress, Rai mentioned major projects and initiatives shaping the district’s future. She emphasized the completion of projects and schemes contributing to overall development.
AT POONCH: Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tahir Mustafa Malik took salute and unfurled the National Flag on occasion of Full dress rehearsal at Sports Stadium Poonch.
The march past was presented by the contingents of security forces including, CRPF, JKP, JKAP, J&K Police (QRT Commander), JKHG, NCC and NSS Government Degree College, Poonch, Boys Higher Secondary School Poonch and other educational institutions.
Additional Deputy Commissioner expressed satisfaction over the performance of parade contingents and arrangements being put in place for the celebrations of the National Day.
DYSP, DAR, Mohammad Shafiq was Parade Commander while Inspector Mukhtiar Ali was 2nd in Commandant.
