Regional Director Survey & land Records reviews progress on Land Revenue Act cases

RAMBAN: In a strategic move towards enhancing land administration and resolving pending cases, Regional Director of Survey and Land Records  Doda, Dr. Ravi Kumar Bharti, convened a crucial meeting today in Ramban.

Attended by Tehsildars and other Revenue officers, to comprehensively review the progress of cases falling under sections 27 and 28 of the Land Revenue Act, the meeting provided a platform for in-depth discussions on 60 cases, each presenting unique challenges and complexities. 

The Regional Director directed concerned officers to expedite the resolution of cases and ensure a more efficient and transparent land governance system. One of the notable outcomes of the meeting was the establishment of specific timelines for the submission of reports for all 60 cases.

Emphasizing the significance of maintaining accurate and up-to-date land records, the Regional Director also highlighted the pivotal role these records play in ensuring transparent land transactions, preventing disputes, and promoting overall socio-economic development.
