Mission Director Dairy Development presides over VBSY programme at TRC Kishtwar

KISHTWAR: Mission Director Dairy Development, Er. Narinder Singh Bali today presided over an impactful Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra here at TRC Kishtwar.

The event garnered participation from local PRIs, the general populace, and District Officers, including ACD Manoj Kumar, GM DIC Mohamad Ashraf, BDO Kishtwar Summit Singh and DIO, Dr Kuldeep Kumar, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer Ajaz Hussain besides others.

The Yatra commenced with the welcoming of the IEC Van by the Mission Director, alongside other esteemed participants. ACD Kishtwar Manoj Kumar set the tone with a warm welcome address, shedding light on the program’s outline and its district-specific profile.

With a primary focus on the comprehensive dissemination of CSS and its tangible on-ground impacts, the Mission Director led inspections of stalls set up by various departments. He provided directives to ensure extensive publicity of these schemes for maximum outreach.

The highlight of the event included beneficiaries sharing their insightful experiences during the “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” segment on stage and IEC Van screening the recorded message on impact of citizen centric schemes in the UT.

Furthermore, the program encompassed the distribution of wheelchairs, prosthetic aids, the Abhinanadan Patara, felicitation of achievers, and the issuance of KCC and soil cards.

Addressing the gathering, Narinder Singh Bali, Mission Director Dairy Development J&K , emphasized the evident developmental trajectory of the UT. He underscored the pivotal roles played by both the general populace and government machinery in fostering this progress.

 Bali urged all stakeholders to actively embrace their responsibilities, emphasizing the realization of the vision for a Developed India by 2047. He shed light on the HADP programs, aimed at revitalizing agriculture and allied sectors, elaborating on the dairy sector’s fundamental role in family development.

Additionally, he reassured the establishment of Milk Collection Centers/BMCs across the district, further demonstrating the commitment to bolstering the dairy industry.

The programme culminated with the commitment for realising the vision of Developed India. The vote of thanks was presented by GM DIC Mohamad Ashraf and the proceedings of the programme were magnificently carried out by Zorawar Singh PET.

The event at TRC Kishtwar was orchestrated to extensively disseminate awareness about CSS aligning with the spirit of VBSY under the management of the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Kishtwar. Spearheaded by BDO Kishtwar Sumit Singh and in collaboration with various departments, the program operated under the astute guidance and overall supervision of Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav ensured comprehensive and effective execution.
