7-Day Ratkhada Mela commences at historic Shree Narsingh Dhaam Temple

SAMBA: The 7-day Ratkhada Mela commenced today at the historic Shree Narsingh Dhaam Temple Ghagwal, a revered pilgrimage site that attracts thousands of devotees each year.

 DDC Chairman Samba, Keshav Dutt Sharma, Vice Chairman Balwan Singh, SSP Samba Benam Tosh, ADC Samba Suresh Chander and Addl. SP Samba Surinder Chaudhary joined the inaugural ceremonies along with SDM Ghagwal Sunaina Saini, offering their prayers on this auspicious occasion.

The inauguration witnessed a significant gathering of devotees who came to pay obeisance on the first day of the Mela.

The event featured a Bhakti-based cultural program organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture, and Languages (JKAACL), adding a vibrant cultural touch to the festivities. 

The community langar organized within the temple premises provided a communal dining experience to the devotees, fostering a sense of unity and shared spirituality.

To further enhance the overall experience for the devotees, local stalls were set up by community members, offering a variety of goods and services catering to the needs of the visitors. 

These local initiatives not only contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of the Mela but also showcased the rich cultural heritage of the region.

The 7-day Ratkhada Mela promises to be a spiritually enriching and culturally vibrant event, bringing together communities and fostering a sense of shared devotion.
