RAJOURI: To devise a vibrant action plan for the efficiency and impact of cooperative initiatives in the district, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, today led a detailed review of the functioning of the Department.
The review encompassed several vital aspects, including the establishment of new cooperative societies, the recovery of Non-Performing Asset (NPA) amounts from Primary Agricultural Credit Societies (PACS), and a thorough assessment of the implementation of various initiatives under the “Sehkar se Samriddhi” scheme.
The meeting provided a valuable platform for stakeholders to discuss strategies for the formation and strengthening of new cooperative societies. The focus was on creating a robust network of cooperatives that could foster economic growth, self-sufficiency, and equitable development within the district.
Another pivotal point of discussion revolved around the recovery of NPA amounts from PACS. The need for timely and efficient recovery mechanisms was emphasized to ensure the financial health and sustainability of these essential entities.
Deputy commissioner Vikas Kundal also conducted an extensive review of the implementation of various initiatives falling under the “Sehkar se Samriddhi” scheme.
