DC Kishtwar reviews HADP Implementation in Fishery Sector

Emphasizes on effectiveness of beneficiary oriented initiatives  

KISHTWAR: District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav today chaired a meeting of District Level Committee (DLC) to review the implementation of the Holistic Agricultural Development Programme (HADP) in the Fisheries Sector.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Assistant Commissioner Development Kishtwar, General Manager DIC Kishtwar, Assistant Director Fisheries Kishtwar, Lal Hussain, Chief Agricultural Officer, Chief Horticultural Officer, Lead Bank Manager, Progressive Fish Farmers of the district besides other members of the committee.

The main agenda of the meeting was approval of beneficiaries for beneficiary oriented individual/group activities of the Holistic Agricultural Development Programme pertaining to the Fisheries sector.

  Assistant Director Fisheries explained in detail different Centrally Sponsored Schemes/State Sector Schemes being implemented in the District   like Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojna (PMMSY), Holistic Agriculture Development Programme (HADP) etc.

The meeting approved 9 cases for establishment of Trout Raceway Units in the private sector and 01 for availing incentive in shape of Motor Cycle with Ice-Box for bonafide Fishermen under HADP/PMMSY schemes.

The cases were meticulously discussed, examined and subsequently approved by the District Level committee.

The District Development Commissioner laid emphasis on effective implementation of the beneficiary oriented initiatives in the district. He directed the Assistant Director Fisheries to expedite the execution of the Holistic Agricultural Development Plan to achieve the set targets within the stipulated time frame.
