SOLAN: Five people were reported missing after a cloudburst at Dadiyat village near Aauli of Paonta Sahib in Sirmaur district on Wednesday night.
Apprehension of more people missing is being expressed by the authorities.
The missing comprise Kuldeep and his family at Sirmouri Taal village, who are feared to have been buried under the debris.
The other missing people are his wife, Jeeto Devi, 55; Rajni Devi, 31; and her two children, Nitesh, 10, and Deepika, 8.
Rescue operation is under way to locate the missing.
Paonta Sahib SDM, tehsildar, naib tehsildar, police and PWD staff are on the spot to oversee the operation.
