DODA: In the run up to the Municipal Electoral Roll Revision, District Election Office Doda organised a training workshop for its staff here under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner, Vishesh Paul Mahajan.
The workshop, organized by District Deputy Election Officer, Amersh Kotwal, focused on the summary revision process for adding, deleting, and correcting electoral roll records. Officials from the District Election Office provided comprehensive training on the updated software required for the upcoming municipal election, with the aim of familiarizing participants with the digital system. The training was conducted by the District Informatics Officer.
Several officers associated with the revision process, including executive officers from Doda, Bhaderwah, and Thathri, as well as Election Naib Tehsildar (ENT) Angrez Singh Jasrotia and officials from the District Election Office, attended the workshop.
The primary objective of the workshop was to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively carry out the revision process of the electoral roll. The officials from the District Election Office provided comprehensive training on the computerized procedures for adding, deleting, and correcting electoral records. The workshop also aimed to ensure a smooth and efficient conduct of the upcoming municipal election by utilizing the digital system in place.
