Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organises Blood Donation Camp at Rajouri

RAJOURI: In a remarkable display of unity and compassion, Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation today organised a blood donation camp here at Sant Nirankari Bhawan.

The event, inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, witnessed the presence of Rev. Saint B.P. Singh Ji, Zonal Incharge, UDH-Zone, 1-A, JKUT, Dr. Irm, Head of Blood Transfusion, and the members of the foundation. The camp received overwhelming support from the community, with numerous followers generously donating blood.

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, played a pivotal role in ensuring the success of the blood donation camp. His presence and active participation further encouraged the donors and members of the foundation.

Expressing his appreciation, Deputy Commissioner Kundal said, “I am deeply grateful to all the blood donors and members of the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation for their selfless contribution. Together, we have made a significant impact by donating 76 units of blood, potentially saving many lives.”

During the event, the Deputy Commissioner took the time to interact with the members of the foundation and the blood donors, expressing his gratitude for their noble act. He commended their commitment to serving the community and highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting the spirit of compassion and humanity.

Rev. Saint B.P. Singh Ji highlighted the importance of blood donation, stating, “The message of our Satguru Mata Ji is ‘Blood should flow in the veins, not in drains.’ When we donate blood, we do not consider whose body it will go into; it is a social work that reflects human values. Blood donation is not just a social factor but a divine quality of humanity, reflecting the spirit of contribution.”

Satguru Mata Ji further emphasised, “Blood donation is a beautiful gesture of selfless service where the well-being of the world is the only concern. In such acts, the feeling does not arise in our hearts that only our relatives or our family are important; the whole world becomes our family.”

Highlighting the impactful work of the Sant Nirankari Mission, Rev. Saint B.P. Singh Ji shared, “Sant Nirankari Mission has already hosted 7,585 blood drives, collecting a total of 1,247,367 units of blood, potentially saving over 3.75 million lives in the last 37 years.”

In honour of ‘Manav Ekta Diwas,’ dedicated to the inspirational teachings of Baba Gurbachan Singh Ji Maharaj, Sant Nirankari Mission organises a series of blood donation camps at various branches across the country. These camps continue to be held throughout the year, with over 50,000 units of blood already collected nationwide on April 24, 2023.

The event was coordinated by the doctors and staff of Blood Transfusion department GMC Rajouri, Red Cross society.

Distinguished guests, including DSP, HQ Rajouri Sh. Mudassir Chowdhary Ji, along with Municipality Chairman Arif Ji, Councillor Sanjay Kumar Ji, Rajesh Kumar Ji, Pushpinder Gupta Ji, and Karan Saryal Ji, attended the event to boost the morale of the donors.
