Encourages students to be ambassadors of positive change
DODA: Deputy Commissioner, Doda Vishesh Mahajan today visited Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV) to bless the students at the ceremonial programme of the Vidyalaya. He interacted with students and the staff members.
The DC inspected classrooms, computer lab, library, and science lab and also observed the cleanliness and hygiene of laboratories and the institution. He also inspected the hostel block and took stock of facilities being provided to the inmates. Thereafter, he graced the prize distribution function along with ACD, Phulail Singh and others.
Program started with Saraswati Vandna and a welcome song. Principal JNV, V.K. Raghuvanshi extended welcome to the DC and other guests.
In his keynote address, Mahajan put emphasis on innovations and suggested celebrating one day in a month as innovation ideas day. He expressed his firm belief that the students and youth are the agents of positive change in society. He also motivated students not to give up in any situation and choose their own path to succeed. He also assured the Vidyalaya Administration of extending full support in bringing up innovative projects in the institution.
The programme concluded with the vote of thanks by Hariom Verma, Senior most teacher of the Vidyalaya.
