KUPWARA: In a unique and humanitarian guesture, an Iftar party for the students of Bal Ashram Handwara and Nari- Niketan Gulgam was organised by the District Administration Kupwara on Wednesday here at TRC complex.
The Deputy Commissioner Kupwara; Dr. Doifode Sagar Dattatray, Chairman, District Development Council Kupwara; Irfan Sultan Pandithpori, Vice-Chairman District Development Council Kupwara; Haji Farooq Mir, ADC Kupwara; Gh. Nabi Bhat, District Social welfare officer Kupwara besides Wardens and staff of both the institutions also attended the Iftar party.
The district administration had invited over 80 students of both the institutions which included 35 Girl students.
The DC expressed gratitude to the participants and conveyed his best wishes to the whole Muslim community on the culmination of the holy month.
The participants also lauded the District Administration with great applause for hosting the Iftar party.
