RAJOURI: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting of the Jal Shakti and Power Development Department (PDD) officials to review the disposal of public grievances by the twin departments.
The meeting was held in the district administrative complex, where senior officials from the concerned departments were present.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner reviewed the progress made in the disposal of public grievances received by the Jal Shakti and PDD departments. He directed the officials to expedite the process of resolving the grievances and ensure that the complaints are addressed in a timely and effective manner.
The Deputy Commissioner also talked telephonically to some of the complainants to ascertain the status of their grievances and sought their feedback on the level of satisfaction with the department’s response. He urged the officials to take the grievances seriously and provide prompt and satisfactory solutions to the public.
Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of addressing public grievances in a timely and effective manner. He directed the officials to ensure that every grievance is resolved in a transparent and accountable manner to instil confidence among the public.
The meeting was aimed at ensuring that the public grievances are addressed promptly and effectively by the concerned departments. The administration is committed to providing efficient and effective public service delivery and will take all necessary steps to ensure that the grievances of the public are resolved in a timely and transparent manner.
The Deputy Commissioner also urged the public to come forward and register their grievances with the concerned departments so that prompt action can be taken to address their concerns.
