UDHAMPUR: At least Forty people were injured on Friday when a footbridge collapsed in during the Baisakhi celebrations in Udhampur district.
According to officials, The mishap occurred due to overloading of the bridge when large number of people were on it.
The incident took place at Beni Sangam in the Bain village of Chenani block during Baisakhi celebrations, they said.
The injured have been admitted to Chenani hospital for treatement.
